"Under the Power of Garbage" is a documentary project of the Russia-1 TV channel about a real hellish place on Earth - the world's largest man-made dump located on the west coast of Africa. Here people do not live longer than thirty years, infected with deadly doses of toxins since childhood. What is a person actually doing with the Planet and what awaits him in the future?
“Today, guessing on a garbage heap, scientists and philosophers predict at least two shocking scenarios for the future of our civilization. In one, garbage will lead humanity to degradation and death. In another, he will save us and even raise us to a new stage of evolution. So which of them is right, and what awaits us tomorrow?
