Every year, more than 8 million tons of plastic waste enters the waters of the World Ocean, polluting its flora and fauna, leading to the extinction of species, and poisoning human organisms. Scientists provide data on 275 million tons of plastic waste from 192 countries every year! This amount of plastic bags, bottles, wrappers, toys and other small items is enough to put them in standard shopping bags for groceries and completely cover the coastline of all the continents and islands on the planet with them.
In order not to worsen the already deplorable state of the ecosystem on Earth, do not buy water in plastic bottles! Use reusable glass, aluminum flasks or bottles made of durable thick plastic. You will get several benefits at once:
- reducing the budget for the constant purchase of water;
- reducing pollution from oil extraction for plastic;
- reducing pollution from the manufacture and recycling of plastics;
- reducing environmental pollution from unrecycled plastic;
- reducing the amount of garbage on the planet;
- conservation of the World Ocean ecosystem and its flora and fauna.
