Last week, began operating .
To date, Oxy-Taxi has only 12 Nissan Leaf electric vehicles in its service, but the owners plan to steadily increase the fleet, bringing the number of vehicles available for order to several hundred by the end of the year. Charging of electric vehicles is provided by a network of express charging stations: at the moment there are only two of them in Kyiv (the third one is being prepared for launch). They provide an electric vehicle battery charge of 50% in 15 minutes, and 80% in half an hour. During one work shift (12 hours), each electric vehicle must visit charging stations no more than 2-3 times.
Tariffs for the new taxi service are higher than average in Kyiv, which is partly due to the presence of additional services for customers: free Wi-Fi, terminal and tablet, payment for services by bank card.
You can also recall that last summer, the Russian service "Yandex.Taxi" bought two Tesla electric cars as part of its "green car experiment" in Moscow. The cost of the trip on them corresponded to the standard fares. In addition, in recent years, electric buses have been gaining popularity in the world, as well as in Russia and Ukraine.
