In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory this year, volunteers from all over Russia will plant millions of trees. The action " Victory Tree " was approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation and is carried out by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia together with the Fund for Assistance to Environmental Protection "Priroda" and authorities.
It is expected that millions of people will take part in the action, from veterans to schoolchildren: "Everyone who wants to plant their own tree will get this opportunity." More than 300,000 trees will be planted in the Altai Territory alone.
The nearest events are planned in the following cities: Kemerovo, Tyumen, Bryansk, Bratsk.
