Next year, double-decker electric buses for tourists will appear in the center of Moscow. This was announced by the head of the capital's department of national policy, interregional relations and tourism Vladimir Chernikov.
Currently, negotiations are underway with the manufacturer on the supply of special buses with electric motors to Moscow: “These are double-decker tourist buses - double deckers. They already exist in Europe, but we plan that they should appear in Moscow.” The announcement separately notes that "Moscow's guests from Western countries are sensitive to environmental issues, and this service can become very popular among them." For the same reason, earlier the Moscow authorities supported the initiative to create an eco-taxi in the city.
Now in Moscow there are seven special parking lots for tourist buses, including at the Novodevichy Convent, on Sparrow Hills, at the area of three stations. The number of parking lots will increase.
