Major fast food chain Burger King plans to add vegetarian dishes that were created for the Indian market to its menus around the world.
The first Burger King fast food restaurants opened in India last November. Their representatives were forced to develop a special menu with vegetarian dishes in order to satisfy the needs of local residents, a significant part of whom adhere to a vegetarian diet. So in a large fast food chain, six new dishes appeared (burgers, sandwiches, snacks). Now the owners of Burger King are thinking about introducing these dishes in other countries - for example, the UK.
Burger King is not the first global fast food chain to enter the Indian market. In particular, for several years Indians have been visiting McDonald's, where special vegetarian dishes have also been created for them.
