The choice of diet is in many ways an environmental issue, because food of animal origin requires an incredible amount of natural resources: water, land, soybeans, grains, etc. - not to mention the ethical treatment of animals ...
Consumers shape demand in the market, so it's important to showcase your food stance for the industry. One easy way to do this is to ask for a vegetarian menu at every cafe you visit . For vegetarians and more strict dieters, it is useful not to choose dishes “quietly”, but to learn about a special menu in order to simplify their choice of dishes and hear additional information. Non-vegetarians - to look at healthy food.
By addressing employees in a cafe with such a request, we show interest in vegan food. This will encourage waiters and cafe owners to think about special menus and healthier cuisine. Bon appetit! ☺

Great advice, my wife and I do just that! And it really works! I would like to note that you need to demand a really vegetarian (or even better vegan) menu, because, for example, lean is often in establishments during fasting, but the assortment and taste leave much to be desired ... Often, the animal component is simply removed from the dish, and it turns out : pasta in tomato sauce, buckwheat with vegetables and other primitive things, but there are so many ways to diversify a familiar dish: tofu, seitan, legumes, mushrooms, seaweed, nuts, seeds ... At least open a vegan restaurant yourself :))
Thanks for the kind comment, Alex! It seems to me that this is why vegans open establishments, because ordinary people do not find understanding and respect for their choice. I'm sure, with your wife's enthusiasm, you would have succeeded with the restaurant! 😉
In addition to enthusiasm, we also need a business plan, which is more difficult for us 😉 but if you set a goal to put together a team of like-minded people with different talents, then, of course, everything will work out!
By the way, here is an actual case from my life:
