Saving energy is not a relic of the past, but an urgent need of the present. Its production not only consumes fossil resources, but also releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which leads to a warming climate on Earth, as well as many respiratory diseases.
Saving electricity in everyday life is not at all difficult and does not require much effort and inconvenience. Our advice today is to boil as much water in a kettle (or heat it on gas) as you need for a single use. It will take much more energy to boil 2 liters of water (about 6 minutes) than 250 ml (1.5 minutes). With such small doses per month, you will reduce up to 20 kW of energy, as well as your budget.
Do not forget to clean the kettle from scale, as it has a low thermal conductivity and the water takes longer to heat up. If you have an electric stove, then for cooking soups, pasta and cooking vegetables, it is more expedient to boil water in a kettle and pour it into a saucepan on the stove. The water in the kettle boils faster and uses less electricity.
Also, to keep water or drinks hot, you can use thermos flasks without resorting to reheating.
